In the last week, the State Department of Health reported 1068 cases of coronavirus with 5 new COVID-19 related deaths statewide. The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Full data is posted on the State of Hawaiʻi Department of Health Disease Outbreak Control Division.

 

 

Statewide COVID-19 Counts:

New Cases: 1068

Total Cases 375,925

New Fatalities: 5

Total Fatalities: 1,775

Daily Case Average: 162

Positivity Rate: 6.8

 

In the last week, the DOH reports 141 new cases of coronavirus on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

Hawaiʻi County Counts:

New Cases: 141

Total Cases: 42,000

Daily Case Average: 22

Positivity Rate: 4.1%

 

Maui County Counts:

New Cases: 131

Total COVID Cases: 42,908

 

Kauaʻi County Counts:

New Cases: 47

Total COVID Cases: 18,854

 

Honolulu County Counts:

New Cases: 722

Total COVID Cases: 260,928
