Earlier this week, Kona patrol officers located 28 year-old Hudson Patrick Ho’oulu Sauer of Kona, a man the HPD had been seeking for an outstanding warrant.  Sauer, who was also wanted for questioning in other criminal cases, was arrested and charged for multiple vehicle thefts.

After conferring with the County Prosecutors Office, police charged Sauer with four counts of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle and one count of first-degree theft. His bail was set at $13,000. He appeared in Kona District Court on Tuesday, January 31, where he was granted supervised release.
