Governor Green in Washington, D.C. to Attend State of the Union Address

Governor Josh Green, M.D. is currently in Washington, D.C. to attend President Biden’s State of the Union Address, meet with members of Hawai‘i’s Congressional Delegation, the National Governors Association Winter Meeting and state dinner with President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, Ph.D.

The Governor also has scheduled meetings with cabinet secretaries for the U.S. Departments of Housing and Urban Development, Transportation and Health and Human Services, as well as meetings with the Secretary and Assistant Secretary of the Navy.

Lt. Governor Sylvia Luke is serving as acting governor until Governor Green returns on Sunday, February 12.
