HPD Requesting Assistance in Locating Wanted Man

Hawai‘i Island police are asking the public with help locating 53-year-old Thomas Bird who is wanted for an outstanding warrant out of Orange County, California.

Bird is described as being 5 feet 11 inches tall, 190 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen in the Hilo district.
 
Anyone with information on Bird’s whereabouts is asked to call the police department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311 or Detective Jenny Lee at (808) 961-2279 or via email at jenny.lee@hawaiicounty.gov.
