As of 4am today, the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for the Puna and Kaʻū Districts of Hawaii through this morning.

Motorists are asked to drive with caution as heavy showers are still occurring.

Due to the flooding conditions Highway 11 between miles 59-60, Kawa Flats is open to one lane of traffic, expect delays.  All other major roads are currently open.
