In the last week, the State Department of Health reported 787 cases of coronavirus with 8 new COVID-19 related deaths statewide. The following data includes confirmed cases up until Wednesday, May 3, 2023. Full data is posted on the State of Hawaiʻi Department of Health Disease Outbreak Control Division.

 

 

Statewide COVID-19 Counts:

New Cases: 787

Total Cases: 387,419

New Fatalities: 8

Total Fatalities: 1,892

Daily Case Average: 107

Positivity Rate: 8%

 

In the last week, the DOH reports 97 new cases of coronavirus on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

Hawaiʻi County Counts:

New Cases: 97

Total Cases: 43,391

Daily Case Average: 15

Positivity Rate: 4.9%

 

Maui County Counts:

New Cases: 52

Total COVID Cases: 43,814

 

Kauaʻi County Counts:

New Cases: 38

Total COVID Cases: 19,563

 

Honolulu County Counts:

New Cases: 582

Total COVID Cases: 269,242
