The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Edmonton Oilers in Game 3 of the playoffs with a score of 5-1, giving them a 2-1 lead in their second-round series.

Jonathan Marchessault scored his first two goals of the playoffs, while Jack Eichel had a goal and an assist and Zach Whitecloud and Chandler Stephenson also adding goals.  Starting goalie Laurent Brossoit left at 11:44 of the first period after turning away three of four shots, after he injured his left leg sliding across the crease. Adin Hill replaced Brossoit in net and stopped all 25 shots.

The Oilers and Knights will play Game 4 in Edmonton on Wed, May 10th at 10:00 pm, followed by Game 5 on Friday night at Las Vegas.
