The UH Hilo Women’s Soccer team was announced as a United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award winner.
The award recognizes exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2022-23 academic year.
The Vulcans posted a 3.53 team grade point average, landing at a nine-school tie at No. 242 out of 497 women’s soccer programs across all three NCAA divisions.
Back in early May, the women’s soccer team was also awarded Hawai’i Hilo Ramon Goya Academic Team of the Year for highest GPA among the Vulcans team sports for the 2022-23 year.
United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.
