In the last week, the State Department of Health reported 1086 cases of coronavirus with 11 new COVID-19 related deaths statewide. The following data includes confirmed cases up until Wednesday, August 16, 2023. Full data is posted on the State of Hawaiʻi Department of Health Disease Outbreak Control Division.

 

 

Statewide COVID-19 Counts:

New Cases: 1086

Total Cases: 397,371

New Fatalities: 11

Total Fatalities: 1,986

Daily Case Average: 153

Positivity Rate: 17.2%

 

In the last week, the DOH reports 117 new cases of coronavirus on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

Hawaiʻi County Counts:

New Cases: 117

Total Cases: 44,684

Daily Case Average: 15

Positivity Rate: 10%

 

Maui County Counts:

New Cases: 86

Total COVID Cases: 44,819

 

Kauaʻi County Counts:

New Cases: 92

Total COVID Cases: 20,287

 

Honolulu County Counts:

New Cases: 775

Total COVID Cases: 276,171
