Hawai‘i Island police are renewing their request for information regarding the disappearance of 42-year-old Jennifer Michelle Showen of the Hawaiian Shores subdivision in Pāhoa.

Showen, who is described as approximately 5 feet 7-inches in height and weighing 150 pounds, with dirty-blondish hair, has not been seen or heard from since July 2022.

Showen is originally from Montana, however, relocated to Hawai‘i Island several years ago with her two young sons who are now back on the mainland. Her family and friends are deeply concerned for her welfare.

The red Hummer H3 Showen owned and operated has since been located and recovered.

Police ask anyone with any information on Showen’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311, or Captain Rio Amon-Wilkins of the Area I Criminal Investigation Division at (808) 961-2251 or via email at Rio.Amon-Wilkins@hawaiicounty.gov
