Police Renew Request for Information Regarding Missing Kona Man

Hawai‘i Island police are renewing their request for public assistance in locating 40-year-old Daniel Immonen of Kailua-Kona, who was recently reported missing by his family on the mainland.

Immonen, who was last believed to be in the Kailua-Kona area in April 2023, is described as Caucasian with a fair complexion, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 170 pounds, with short blond hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on Immonen’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact Area II Criminal Investigation Section Detective Len Hamakado at (808) 326-4646, ext. 224, or via email at  len.hamakado@hawaiicounty.gov.
