Beginning today, the Department of Public Works Engineering Division and Isemoto Contracting Co., Ltd. will begin paving the raised crosswalks and driveways of Māmalahoa Highway.

The work, which will take place from 8:30am-1:30pm, to accommodate student pick up and drop off, will begin in front of Hōlualoa Elementary School, while the driveway paving will start at Kamalani St.

During this time, there will be shifting lane closures during the workday. Motorists are urged to use caution while driving in the area and expect delays. Flaggers will be present to guide traffic.
