Effective immediately, the required 25% North Kona Water Restriction, which has been in effect since August 6, 2024, is downgraded to a voluntary 10% Water Conservation Notice.

The Kalaoa Deepwell has been repaired and returned to service due to a spare pump assembly the Department of Water Supply previously procured, which expedited the repairs.

DWS continues to ask customers to conserve drinking water, use water wisely, and to not waste it.  Taking short showers, fixing leaky plumbing and toilets, irrigating efficiently, and turning off the faucet while brushing teeth are easy ways to reduce water use.
