Hawai’i Island police are requesting public assistance in identifying two Hilo burglary suspects that were captured on video surveillance.

The burglary took place at a business located on the 100 block of Kalanianaole Street on Saturday, September 14 between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 3:30 a.m.

The footage showed the first male suspect wearing a dark top, ball cap and dark shorts with a beige wrap-type bandage on his lower left shin and a small beige bandage below his right knee cap.

The second male was shown wearing a green long sleeve shirt, red and black ball cap and dark pants.

Police ask anyone who may be able to identify the males captured in the photos above or who may have information relative to this case to contact Detective Amy Omaya of the Area I Criminal Investigation Section at (808) 961-2381, or via email at amy.omaya@hawaiicounty.gov
