The Carolina Panthers are trading wide receiver Diontae Johnson to the Baltimore Ravens. Sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the Ravens will send a fifth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft to the Panthers in exchange for Johnson and Carolina’s sixth-round selection.

Johnson, a former Pro Bowler with the Pittsburgh Steelers, was in his first season with the Panthers. In seven games, he led as Carolina’s top receiver with 30 catches for 357 yards and three touchdowns.

The Ravens offense has arguably been the league’s best this season, with Baltimore leading the league with 452.1 yards of offense per game (ranking second to the Detroit Lions with 30.3 points per game). Johnson joins Ravens wide receivers Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman, who’s currently has 22 catches for 422 yards and three touchdowns through eight games.s.

The Ravens dropped to 5-3 after they were upset in a loss to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday; they trail the KC Chiefs (7-0) by 2.5 games and are a game behind the 6-2 Steelers in the AFC North.

The Ravens will host the Denver Broncos this Sunday.
