Hawai‘i County Police Department’s Area I Criminal Investigation Section detectives are requesting public assistance in identifying a Hilo burglary suspect.

On October 10, South Hilo patrol officers responded to a report of an alarm at a business located in the 400 block of Manono Street. Officers determined that a lone male, who was captured on video surveillance, unlawfully entered the business, and once inside removed numerous items of merchandise and fled the scene.

Anyone with information relative to the burglary suspect is encouraged to call the police department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311.
