High Surf Warning for West Facing Shores Continues Through Tonight

The High Surf Warning for all West Facing Shores of Hawaiʻi Island, from Upolu Point in North Kohala to South Point in Ka`u has been extended through tonight.

Due to the High Surf Warning, the following has been advised:

  • Kahalu`u Beach Park in Kona is closed due to debris and high surf.
  • Other west facing shore beach parks may close without notice.
