Police Seek Suspect in Kona Theft Investigation

Hawai’i Island police are asking for public assistance identifying the suspect in a December 29, 2024 theft that occurred in the 75-5700 block of Ali’i Drive in Kailua-Kona.

Police determined that an unidentified woman removed items from a business without rendering payment. The woman is described as possibly being in her early 20s, local / Hawaiian, between 5-foot-3-inches to 5-foot-5-inches tall, 130-150 pounds.

Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or email Officer Aaron Abalos at Aaron.Abalos@hawaiicounty.gov.
