Hawai‘i Island police are requesting public assistance in locating 23-year-old Kaleo Mello of Nā‘ālehu, who is wanted for two outstanding arrest warrants regarding a burglary and operating a stolen vehicle, both of which took place in 2024.

Mello, who is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 170 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair, is known to frequent the Green Sands subdivision in Nā‘ālehu.

Police caution members of the public not to approach Mello as he is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on Mello’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact Detective Donovan Kohara at (808) 960-3118; or via email at donovan.kohara@hawaiicounty.gov.
