County Sponsoring Free Easter Events

The County of Hawai‘i and community partners are hosting the following free Easter events in Hilo, and Pāhala.

Detailed information regarding the events can be found below:

 

Easter Extravaganza

• Date: Friday, April 18

• Time: Gates open at 9 a.m.

• Location: Dr. Francis F.C. Wong Stadium, Hilo

• Activities: Egg hunt, jumping castle, lawn games, face painting, snacks, food vendors, keiki ID.

The egg hunt is for keiki ages 5-12. Egg hunt times are: 11 a.m. (ages 5-6), 11:30 a.m. (ages 7-9), and 12 p.m. (ages 10-12). No baskets are needed as bags will be provided. Parents and guardians are not allowed on the field.

 

Easter Family Fun Day

• Date: Friday, April 18

• Time: 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

• Location: Pāhala Community Center

• Activities: Egg hunts, prizes, refreshments (while supplies last), entertainment, information booths.
