The family and loved ones of Earl “Oa” Hind remain unwavering in their efforts to locate the missing fisherman, who has been missing since April 10.

After the U.S. Coast Guard’s efforts covering more than 300 nautical miles of ocean over five days, private-led operations continue to search daily.

Oa has more than 20 years of experience as a fisherman and was last seen aboard his 24-foot fishing vessel off Hawaiʻi Island.  There has been absolutely no sign of wreckage or debris of the boat.

To date, more than $100,000 has been raised to support private search efforts. These funds have allowed the family to charter private aircrafts and fuel search vessels.

Donations to support the ongoing search can be made at www.gofundme.com/f/help-bring-oa-home-support-our-search. Updates and contact information can be found at www.findoa.org.
