The Indiana Pacers beat the Cleveland Cavaliers with a score of 121-112 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals at Rocket Arena on Sunday, to take an early 1-0 series lead.

Leading the Pacers was Andrew Nembhard with 23 points on 5-of-6 shooting from three-point range, while Tyrese Haliburton had 22 points and 13 assists. For the Cavs, Donovan Mitchell scored 33 points — marking Mitchell’s eighth straight Game 1 with 30 points or more. That achievement breaks a tie with Michael Jordan, who had two separate streaks of seven consecutive Game 1 outings with 30-plus points.

Game 2 of the series is on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. in Cleveland.
