Hawai‘i Island police are asking for public assistance in locating 14-year-old Kawelo Lancaster, who was initially reported as a runaway and is considered a missing and endangered juvenile due to concerns for his well-being and safety.

Lancaster, who was last seen on Pikake Street in the Fern Acres subdivision in Mountain View on the evening of Monday, May 12, was wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts.

He is described as having a tan complexion and thin build, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, 145 pounds, with short, curly black hair and brown eyes. He also has a mole on the left side of his face near his left eye.

Police ask anyone with information about Lancaster’s whereabouts to immediately call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or Acting Detective Corey Kaneko at (808) 961-8843 or email: corey.kaneko@hawaiicounty.gov.
