The Hawai‘i Tourism Authority (HTA) announced the appointment of Jill Byus Radke as its new public affairs officer.

Radke, who holds a master’s degree in management from Harvard University, and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University, brings more than two decades of experience in public affairs, community engagement and strategic communications, with a strong focus on historic and cultural preservation.

As public affairs officer, Radke will be responsible for HTA’s government relations, media communications, issue management, corporate and social responsibility programs, as well as strategic communications.

Radkeʻs past roles in communications and management include work at Disney’s Aulani Resort, Kaiser Permanente Hawai‘i, the Bishop Museum and the Historic Hawai‘i Foundation.
