Police Seeking Person of Interest in Cellular Phone and Identity Theft Investigation

Hawaii Island Police are requesting public assistance with identifying a person of interest in a South Kohala cellular phone theft and identity theft investigation that occurred on July 23, 2025.

The individual is described as a Caucasian male, between 5-feet 9-inches and 5-feet 10-inches tall, weighing 175 pounds, with long curly dark hair with a dark beard, wearing a blue t-shirt, brown shorts, black shoes, and carrying a large backpack.

Police ask anyone with information to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or email Officer Kiley Loo at Kiley.loo@hawaiicounty.gov.
