Friends of Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park is collaborating with the Apple TV + series “Chief of War” for a number of cultural programming events.

The core of the partnership will be a series of events directly tied to themes from the series which are based on true events. Each program will feature a viewing of a clip from the series, executive produced by Jason Momoa, followed by a demonstration led by cultural practitioners that allow participants the opportunity to learn about an art form depicted in the show.

“Chief of War” is currently streaming on Apple TV+ with new episodes premiering every Friday.
