Hawaii Island police are requesting public assistance regarding a robbery that occurred at a Hilo grocery store on July 10.

A female employee reported that an unidentified male suspect placed an item in his pants and proceeded to the exit without paying. He then shoved the employee after bering confronted by her.

The suspect then left the area on a bicycle.

Video surveillance captured the suspect and is being released to the public for identification purposes.

Police ask anyone who may know the identity of the unidentified male suspect to contact police.
