Police have located and identified the second individual who was initially unaccounted for during last week’s Hilo hotel fire.

The individual was not present during the fire and returned later that morning in good health.

The cause of the fire remains undetermined. Detectives are continuing the coroner’s inquest investigation to positively identify the decedent who was killed in the fire. An autopsy was scheduled last week.
