The County of Hawaiʻi Department of Environmental Management announces that all solid waste facilities will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 27 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Facilities are scheduled to resume normal operations on Friday, Nov. 28.

The department respectfully asks the public not litter or illegally dump any materials at the closed facilities.
