Hawai’i Island police have identified the man who died in the Oct. 22 Wild Ginger Inn structure fire on Puueo Street in Hilo as 66-year-old Gerald James O’Grady, a tenant of the building.

An autopsy was performed and final results are pending. At this time, police and Hawai‘i County Fire Department investigators do not suspect foul play.
