Beginning on Monday, May 18, emergency repairs will take place on a 150-foot-section of the makai lane and shoulder of Aliʻi Drive.
The project, located in the vicinity of Island Lava Java at 75-5815 Aliʻi Drive, is expected to last about three months with normal working hours from 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The makai lane will be closed throughout the project with a one lane two-way contraflow on the mauka lane operated by portable traffic signals.
Motorists are advised to expect delays, use caution when traveling through the area, and allow extra travel time.
