Hawaii DOE releases free food schedule for schools

During the extended COVID-19 school closure (now thru Mon., April 6, 2020), HIDOE will provide FREE grab-and-go breakfasts and lunches at select schools for all children/youth 18 years and under.
Starts Monday, March 23, 2020:
Kaʻū High & Pāhala Elementary School
Kohala High School
Konawaena High School
Pahoa High & Intermediate School
Waiakea High School
Starts Tuesday, Mar. 24, 2020:
Honoka’a High School
Kahakai Elementary
Waimea School
Times:
  • Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 8 a.m. for breakfast.
  • Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to Noon for lunch.
Note: Meals will not be served on Thursday, March 26 in observance of Prince Kuhio Day.
