On Saturday, April 11, only 1 visitor arrived from out of state into Kona Airport, along with 11 residents and 1 intended new resident.  Hawaii Tourism Authority says 20 fewer people arrived from out of state to all state airports.  That included 78 visitors to O’ahu, 8 to Maui, and 2 to Kaua’i.

On Friday, Hawaii County Mayor Harry Kim ordered all vacation rentals and Bed and Breakfast rentals to shut down and cease advertising effective Monday, April 13, 2020.  Those in them now may stay through the term of their rental.

This table shows the number of people who arrived by air from out of state yesterday and does not include interisland travel
