The COVID-19 count on Hawaii Island is now 74, according to the State Department of Health in its noon update on Sunday, May 3.  The bulk of the cases on Hawaii Island is still in the Kailua-Kona area, with the second most in the Hilo area.  The McDonald’s Kona cluster has at least 36 people in it, 19 employees of the three McDonald’s and 17 family contacts, according to State Department of Health as of a week ago.

The red indicates 21 to 50 cases, the orange indicates 6 to 10, the yellow indicates 1 to 5, and white areas have no residents reported with COVID-19.  Click here for the original map, which includes the whole state.
