The State Department of Transportation will limit traffic to a single lane at the intersection of Kipimana Street and Volcano Road, effective today.

The Kipimana Traffic Signal Installation Project includes installing traffic signals, restriping, and installing signs.

Working hours for the project will be 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Motorists are advised that the speed limit will be reduced to 35 mph at the project location. Please use caution and plan for longer driving times when traveling through the area.

The project was initially announced in July, 2019.   The Kipimana Traffic Signal Installation Project is scheduled to be completed in September, weather permitting.
