The Ironman Group has announced the the 2020 Ironman 70.3 Hawai`i triathlon (i.e. a half Ironman race), has been further postponed from August 15, 2020 to November 21, 2020, the Saturday before Thanksgiving. All registered athletes of the 2020 Ironman 70.3 Hawai`i triathlon will be receiving an email with further information.

The Ironman 70.3 race is a qualifier for the Ironman Triathlon World Championship. The Kohala Coast-based event includes the usual swim, bike, and run.  The swim is at Hapuna Beach, the bike goes to Mauna Lani Drive and then up to Hawi and back, and the run is around the Fairmont Orchid property.

On May 14, the Ironman Group announced that this year’s Ironman Triathlon World Championship, originally scheduled for October 10, 2020, has been postponed until February 6, 2021.
