The search for Clare Maney, a 28-year-old Kailua-Kona woman, continued Tuesday.  Maney was last seen Sunday, June 14, and reported missing on June 15.  The Hawaii County Police report said she needs medical attention.

Hawaii County Fire and Rescue teams searched areas along the coast from South Kona through Old Airport Park and beyond via County helicopter and county rescue boat.  The Coast Guard had a rescue chopper also searching the coastline for the missing woman.   The search continued until dark.

Maney is described as being 5-feet-11-inches, about 145 pounds, fair complexion, blonde hair, and blue eyes.

Police ask that anyone who may have any information about the whereabouts of Maney to call Officer Rebecca Carruthers at (808) 326-4646, ext. 253, or the Hawaiʻi Police Department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311.
