The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has indicated that based on all available data a destructive Pacific-wide Tsunami is not expected and there is NO TSUNAMI THREAT to Hawaii   following a 7.8 temblor in Alaska that happened at 8:13pm HST.

The epicenter was 75 miles south of Chignik, Alaska and 520 miles southwest of Anchorage.
