Hawaii County is sponsoring  COVID-19 testing today at Kahuku Park upper parking lot in Ka’u.  Hours are from 9:00 in the morning ‘til 1:00 in the afternoon.  *(The testing was initially announced at Ocean View Community Center; this is new information as of 8:45 a.m. Thursday.)

Please bring your insurance information if you have insurance, but if not, come anyway–there will be no charge as Hawaii County is using CARES Funds (Federal Funds) to cover the cost.

Hawaii County Civil Defense says the purpose of testing is to identify positive cases as early as possible and in this way help stop the spread of the virus.
