Hawaii County Police say that the 10-year-old missing child Chennah K. Caitano has been located in good health today  at 7:59 p.m. in the Fern Forest subdivision of Puna.

Police issued an alert this morning at 11:59 a.m., saying the girl was last seen in the 100 block area of Ululani Street in Hilo on September 18, 2020 at approximately 4:35 PM.

Acting Assistant Police Chief Sam Jelsma reported Thursday night that Miss Caitano had run away from home and was found safe and unharmed at the home of a relative.  Jelsma said the child has been in foster care.
