State adds 110 COVID: 92 O’ahu, 8 Big Island

The state has added 110 new cases of COVID-19 to its count, with 92 on O’ahu, 8 on Hawaii Island, 7 in residents who are out of state, 2 on Kaua’i, and 1 on Maui.

Hawaii County Civil Defense says most new cases are in West Hawaii, in those 40 and younger.

The state is still counting 222 deaths from COVID-19, with the Big Island having 48 deaths–only 31 of which are in the state count.
