There are two COVID-19 test sites sponsored by the County today:  at Konawaena High School in South Kona from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., and at Afook Chinen Auditorium in Hilo from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Thursday, there will be COVID-19 testing at Waimea District Park from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.

These tests are all drive-through, so stay in your vehicle when you arrive.  Please wear a mask.  Please bring your insurance card if you have insurance.

Hawaii County is covering the cost of doing  widespread testing in the County with Federal CARES funds, which are required to be used this month.  It’s not clear whether the County will have funding to cover the costs of the COVID-19 testing after this month.  Anybody who wants a test is urged to get one now.
