COVID-19 Cases Increase Throughout The State

The Hawaiʻi COVID-19 Joint Information Center Daily Digest for Wednesday, February 3, 2021 reports 74  new COVID-19 cases and 4 deaths.  All 4 fatalities were found on Oʻahu..  This report includes cases up until Monday, February 1, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.

Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website daily at hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

Statewide COVID-19 Counts 

Total Cases  26,081

Deaths 414

New Cases: 74

Average Daily Cases: 85

Fatality Rate: 1/6%

 

The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reports 4 new cases of Coronavirus with 2 persons hospitalized on Hawaiʻi Island.  There have been no deaths reported in the last five weeks.

 

Hawaiʻi Island Counts:

Total Cases: 2177

Deaths: 53

New Cases: 4

Average Daily Cases: 6

Fatality Rate: 2.4%

 

In the last 14 days, the Department of Health confirmed 1,383 new COVID-19 cases, 86 of those were found on Hawaiʻi Island.
