DOH Reports 29 New COVID-19 Cases, 1 on Big Island

The State Department of Health Joint Information Center Daily Digest for Monday, March 1, 2021 reports 29 new cases of coronavirus . This report includes cases up until Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website daily: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

Statewide COVID-19 Counts 

Total Cases  27,588

Deaths 439

New Cases: 29

Average Daily Cases: 45

Fatality Rate: 1.6%

Reported Cases in the Last Two Weeks: 630

 

The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reports 1 new case of Coronavirus with 2 people hospitalized on Hawaiʻi Island.  There have been no deaths reported in the last nine weeks.

 

Hawaiʻi Island Counts:

Total Cases: 2,245

Deaths: 53

New Cases: 1

Average Daily Cases: 1

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 30

Fatality Rate: 2.4%
