48 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Statewide

The State Department of Health reports 48 new cases of coronavirus.  This report includes cases up until Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 11:30 a.m.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS

Total Cases  31,490

New Cases: 48

Deaths: 474

Current Hospitalizations: 43

Total Hospitalizations: 2,421

Average Daily Cases: 80

Positivity Rate: 1.6%

Fatality Rate: 1.5%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 1166

 

The Department of Health reports 1 new case of Coronavirus with no deaths reported on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 2,645

New Cases: 1

Deaths: 53

Current Hospitalizations: 5

Total Hospitalizations: 128

Average Daily Cases: 8

Positivity Rate: 1.2%

Fatality Rate: 2%
