(UPDATED)

This May, the Hawai‘i County Police Department is inviting residents to attend two “Coffee with a Cop” talk story sessions. The events will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the following dates:

  • Friday, May 14, 2021, at the Kona Mountain Coffee Co., 73-4038 Hulikoa Drive.
  • Friday, May 28, 2021, at Kona Coffee & Tea, 74-5588 Palani Road, in the Kona Coast Shopping Center.

“Coffee with a Cop” encourages community members to get to know their police officers over a cup of coffee. The events have no agenda and topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues.

All social distancing and COVID-19 restrictions will be enforced.

Events may be subject to change with regard to COVID-19 restrictions and or additional proclamations issued by county and state government.
