The Los Angeles Angels announced that outfielder Mike Trout was placed on the injured list after suffering a right calf strain, and is expected to miss the next six-to-eight weeks

Trout exited his team’s game against Cleveland on May 17 with a right calf strain.  Through 35 games, the eight-time All-Star owns a 1.086 OPS with eight home runs and 18 RBIs.
