50 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Statewide

The State Department of Health reports 50 new cases of coronavirus.  The following data includes confirmed and probable cases up until Monday, May 24, 2021.  Full data is posted on the State COVID-19 dashboard and on the DOH Disease Outbreak & Control Division website: hawaiicovid19.com/dashboard.

 

 

 

STATEWIDE COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases  35,974

New Cases: 50

Deaths: 496

Current Hospitalizations: 43

Average Daily Cases: 50

Positivity Rate: 1%

Fatality Rate: 1.4%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 933

 

The DOH reports 9 new cases of Coronavirus and 0 new COVID-19 related deaths on Hawaiʻi Island.

 

HAWAIʻI ISLAND COVID-19 COUNTS:

Total Cases: 2,864

New Cases: 9

Deaths: 53

Current Hospitalizations: 3

Average Daily Cases: 4

Positivity Rate: 1.1%

Fatality Rate: 1.9%

Cases Reported in the Last Two Weeks: 61
