COVID cases continue to rise worldwide

As of 4:45 am on Thursday, August 12, 2021, The Johns Hopkins COVID-19 dashboard reports the following data: 

                          Global Cases -204,944,967           Global Deaths – 4,328,645

                          U.S. Cases – 36,193,918                 U.S. Deaths – 618,499

The FDA is expected to announce a third COVID-19 vaccine booster shot for immune compromised individuals as the delta variant surges across the United States increasing the lack of hospital capacities.
