Pu‘uhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park Closed During Morning Hours Several Days This Week

On Tuesday, September 14 and Wednesday, September 15, Pu‘uhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park, will be conducting helicopter operations for resource management purposes from 6am-11am.  These operations will require partial temporary park closures which will include the Picnic Area and the 1871 Trail to the southern park boundary as well as the Coastal Trail. The park Visitor Center, Royal Grounds and Pu‘uhonua will remain open.
